What is Nordischer Klang?
The Nordic Sound Festival in Greifswald is the largest annual cross-genre event in Germany, focussing on music, art and literature from Scandinavia, Finland and Estonia. The festival will take place for the 34th time in 2025. Musicians, artists, authors and many others are invited to be part of the festival programme, which consists of around 40 different events - such as concerts, readings, exhibitions, openings, panel discussions and workshops. Every year, up to 10,000 visitors attend the ten-day festival. One of the Nordic countries alternates annually as the patron country.
When and where will the Nordischer Klang take place next?
The 2025 festival will take place from 2 to 11 May, with preludes and postludes taking place around the core festival period. The events will take place at various locations in Greifswald.
