The Baltic Sea Region is a cultural, geographical and political entity characterised by a diversity of cultures, a unique ecosystem and its geopolitical importance.
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Baltic Sea Region Research (IFZO) explores the Baltic Sea Region through the multiple connections between cultures, their influence on the ecosystem and the exemplary nature of its transnational institutions.
