Legal framework of a common energy market in the Baltic Sea Region
This approach focuses on the legal deficits in the realization of common energy markets. On the one hand, this concerns EU law, which has not yet developed sufficient mechanisms to overcome a fragmented energy market. On the other hand, the study will identify options for a coordinated energy policy and legal instruments for its implementation (also on the EU legal level). Through a comparative law approach, possible legal obstacles to the achievement of EU energy policy goals will be analyzed.
