Legal Framework of Climate Change Technologies
The focus is on the different transformation pathways and legal frameworks as well as their effects on the trade and import of energy sources in the Baltic Sea Region. The role of EU law will also be examined. Is there a need for a common transformation strategy, appropriate minimum standards for the technologies or otherwise overarching regulations to enable a common market with different transformation pathways and technologies? In particular, what role will new technologies such as hydrogen and negative emission technologies play in the Baltic Sea Region?
