Timothy Moss delivers the keynote lecture “Infrastructuring Resilience: Berlin’s Usable Pasts” at the IFZO Annual Conference (8–9 Oct 2025, University of Greifswald). Moss explores how historical infrastructures and legible pasts can be mobilized to design more resilient urban futures — and how “usable pasts” inform contemporary debates on planning, memory, and adaptation.

Film: Viking GoldTreasure politics since 1800

The film is part of the digital exhibition “Viking Gold. Politics of Treasure since 1800” (www.vikinggold.org). The exhibition presents the results of a research project by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Baltic Sea Region Research (IFZO) at the University of Greifswald, carried out in cooperation with the Stralsund Museum, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Isabelle Dolezalek (TU Berlin) and Charlotte Wenke (University of Greifswald).
