The security situation in the Baltic Sea region has become increasingly tense in recent months. Geopolitical tensions, hybrid threats, and growing societal uncertainty are shaping political discourse and everyday life across the Baltic Sea states.
The discussion "How Military Tensions Are Transforming Society and Culture in the Baltic Sea Region" will explore how these developments affect democracy, culture, and society. Lithuanian author and translator Laurynas Katkus and British author and journalist Oliver Moody will discuss the region's new geopolitical realities and their implications for the future of Europe. The discussion will be moderated by Natascha Freundel.
