Its research focuses on the Baltic Sea region: a geographical and political entity characterised by a diversity of cultures and a unique ecosystem, which is also of great geopolitical importance. IFZO Annual Conference: “Approaches to Resilience in the Baltic Sea Region”

8-9 October 2025 | This interdisciplinary conference will explore “Approaches to Resilience in the Baltic Sea Region” from various perspectives. The presentations shall examine how resilience is shaped, negotiated, and enacted across civil society, institutions, narratives, identities, and how more resilient regions and landscapes may be achieved.
