MAGnituDe Researcher Iga Nowicz Interviews Author Artur Weigandt

MAGnituDe researcher Dr. Iga Nowicz recently interviewed German author Artur Weigandt for the Polish online magazine Nowa Europa Wschodnia (New Eastern Europe).

Born in Kazakhstan and later moving to Germany with his family, Weigandt reflects on how his post-Soviet background has shaped his perspective on Russia's war against Ukraine, Germany's culture of remembrance, and the ways in which different post-Soviet experiences intersect.

The interview addresses themes that are central to the Horizon Europe project MAGnituDe, including memory, forced migration, and the lasting impact of post-Soviet experiences on contemporary European societies.

The full interview is available online via Nowa Europa Wschodnia / New Eastern Europe.
